The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department and National central Bureau of Interpol as a result of jointly held operative and searching activities detained Spanish citizen Zaira B. in Tbilisi (DoB 1976). The mentioned person was wanted worldwide by Spanish Bureau of Interpol from 21 July, 2015. Zaira B. is found guilty of crimes under articles- 248, 250, 570 and 301 of the Spanish Criminal Code which envisages money laundering, fraud and membership of the criminal world. MIA officers have placed the detainee in Rustavi Women’s Penitentiary Facility, while pre-extradition procedures are underway against her.
