The officers of Guria Regional Main Division and Drug Addiction and Narco-business Division of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of joint operative-investigative activities detained Nugzar T. (DoB: 1966) in the village Grigoleti, Lanchkhuti Region, for illicit sowing, growing or cultivating of plant containing narcotics in especially large quantity.
The law enforcers as a result of search of a detainee`s house and a yard seized 6 roots of cannabis, that according to the decision of an expertise amounts to 1 kg. and 302,01 gr. Drug test of a detainee confirmed the fact of abuse of marijuana. The detainee pleaded guilty.
The investigation is in progress over the fact of illicit sowing, growing or cultivating of plant containing narcotics in especially large quantity (sub clause “a” of the part 3 of the Article 265 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
