The officers of the Gardabani police division of Kvemo Kartli police department as a result of the investigative activities held on the basis of operative information, detained Arip B. (DoB 1975) in Gardabani for illegal purchase and keeping of firearm.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s apartment policemen seized AKC automatic weapon, one cartridge and 10 bullets. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearm, article 236, II part of the criminal code.
