The officers of Vake-Saburtalo Police Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Nikoloz K (DoB 1999) for the attempted murder.
Investigation established, that the underage detainee inflicted several injuries with blunt object in the throat area to his mother Natia S. (DoB 1969). The wounded woman was transferred to the hospital by the ambulance.
After committing the crime, the accused tried to commit suicide. The law enforcers managed to safely withdraw Nikoloz K. from the 12th floor of the residential building.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of attempted murder, article 19-108 of the Criminal Code.
