Rescuers of Emergency Situations Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs rescued two elderly male citizens from Mtkvari River. Citizens found themselves trapped on an Iceland created as a result of the increased water level on Mtkvari River near to Zahesi and asked rescuers for help. Notification was received by incident management unit of Emergency Situations Management Agency. Team of rescuers departed to the place of incident as soon as the report was received, made quick response and thus saved both of citizens.
