The officers of Lanchkhuri police unit of Guria Regional Main Division, as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information, Giorgi G. (DoB 1989) was detained for premeditated murder and Zaal Kh. (DoB 1975) was exposed for concealing the crime.
Investigation established that Giorgi G. inflicted multiple injuries to his stepfather -Elguja G. with a cold steel on the basis of conflict and fled from the place of crime. Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of crime.
Police arrested Giorgi G. in Lanchkhuti, as a result of investigative activities. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress under the article 108 and article 375 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
