The officers of Kakheti Regional Main Division and Lagodekhi police division as a result of investigative activities detained two times convicted Aleksandre K. (DoB 1976) in Tbilisi for illegal purchase, keeping and transit of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized narcotics wrapped in two packages, which according to the results of expertise is opium and weighs 45,268gr. Drug test results revealed that Aleksandre K. consumed drugs from opium group.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and transit of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
