The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department along with the employees of the Revenue Service customs, as a result of the jointly held operative-investigative activities detained Iranian citizen B.P. (DoB 1973) at Tbilisi International Airport for the drug related crime.
During the personal search of the detainee policemen seized 48,2811 gr. of codeine 1kg. and 112gr of morphine sulphate as well as 3,5006 gr. of thebaine.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and import of drugs, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph A and article 262, IV part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
