The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of searching and operative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Ukrainian citizen O.S. (DoB 1991) at Tbilisi International Airport for drug related crime.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 232 pills of drug substance and 68 pills of methadone.
Investigation established that detainee purchased the mentioned drugs on the territory of Turkey.
Drug test revealed that detainee was the consumer of methadone and marijuana.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and smuggling of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260,VI part, sub-paragraph A and article 262 IV part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
