The officers of Achara and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police Department as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained Turkish citizen M.R. (DoB 1959) in Batumi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 63 pills and pieces of drug substance which according to the results of expertise contains 0,55178 gr of buprenorphine.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
