The officers of Gori police division of Shida Kartli Regional Main Division as a result of operative and investigative activities detained Davit Ch. (DoB 1992) for illegal purchase, purchase and smuggling of drugs on the territory of Georgia in especially large quantities. The mentioned person was detained at Tbilisi International Airport.
During the personal search and as a result of the search of the detainee’s backpack police seized various drugs.
Investigation established that detainee smuggled drugs from Netherlands. Drug test revealed that Davit Ch. was under the influence of drugs in the moment of his detention.
Investigation is in progress under the article 260, I and II parts, sub-paragraph A, paart III, sub-paragraph A and article 262, I , II and IV parts, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
