The officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Main Division, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Malkhaz J. (DoB 1966) for drug crime in Kutaisi.
Investigation established that detainee purchased drugs on the territory of Turkey. During the personal search law enforcers seized 2 packages of drug in especially large quantities.
According to the results of expertise the amount of drugs is 7,28gr, containing 5,2416gr of heroin.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
