The officers of Detectives Division and District Inspectors Division of Adjara A/R Police Department of MIA as a result of investigative activities carried out on the basis of operative information detained the citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan Elnur B. (DoB 1993) in Sarpi for illegal purchase, keeping and transportation of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the personal search of a detainee the law enforcers seized 83 pills and 3 pieces of so called “ecstasy”. The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress over the fact of illegal purchase-storage and transportation of drugs in especially large quantities (sub clause “a” of the VI part of the article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
