The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities detained three persons convicted in past: G.G.(DoB 1989) B.D. (DoB 1981) G.O. (DoB1973) for extorting property.
Investigation established that detained verbally and physically assaulted a citizen and demanded 23600 USD as a result of threats to liquidate his family. Detainees demanded cash on behalf of a certain criminal authority and criminal world.
Detainees contacted the victim on the regular basis, threatened to liquidate his family members and demanded to bring cash on time. They also complained for not paying cash on time and stated that the cash was aimed for a certain criminal authority who was supposed to send cash to the so called “Obshiak”.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of extortion of the property in large amounts, article 181, II part, sub-paragraph A and C of the criminal Code.
