The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained member of the organized group Namik P. 9DoB 1995 in Ponitchala for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
Law enforcers requested the driver of “Toyota” vehicle to stop. The legal request of police was ignored by the driver he offered resistance and deliberately smashed into police vehicle; he also inflicted body injuries to two police officers with a cold steel and managed to flee from the place of crime. At this moment operative activities are being held in order to detain person accused of wounding police officers. Second person from “Toyota” vehicle –Namik P. also offered resistance to police however he was detained by the law enforcers. During the personal and searching activities held in the vehicle law enforcers seized 26 packages of drug substance which is undergoing chemical examination.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities and resistance to the police officer, article 260, I part and article 353, I part of the Criminal Code.
