The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained V.A. (DoB 1984) in Tbilisi, who was wanted from 2014 by Isani-Samgori police division for intentional damage to health as well as for illegal purchase and keeping of firearm.
V.A. tried to escape from the officers in the moment of his detention and received leg injury as a result. At this moment detainee is places at the hospital under the supervision of the law enforcers.
Police seized firearm from the scene.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm, article 236, II and III parts of the Criminal Code.
