The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the MIA as a result of operative and investigative activities carried out on the basis of an operative information detained in Tbilisi for illegal purchase and storage of drugs in large quantities T.Ch. (DoB 1980), previously convicted.
During the personal search of the detainee the law enforces seized 10 pills of Suboxin; according to the examination the drug contained Buprenorphine. The drug test revealed that the detainee was under the influence of opium group drug and psychotropic substance at the moment of his detention.
The investigation is in progress over the fact of illegal purchase-storage of drugs in large quantities (sub clause “a” of the part III of the Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
