The officers of Detectives Division of Ajara Police Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Tsira Gh. (DoB 1985) in Sarpi border check point for illegal purchase, keeping and import of drugs in especially large quantities.
During searching activities law enforcers seized 25 pills of ecstasy. The investigation established that the detainee imported drugs from the Republic of Turkey. Tsira Gh. has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and import of drugs in especially large quantities (article 260, VI part and article 262, IV part of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
