The officers of Vake-Saburtalo police division as a result of immediate operative-searching and investigative activities detained Givi A. (DoB 1967) for causing serious intentional health injury.
Investigation established that detainee on the basis of jealousy inflicted several injuries to Zurab L. with a cold steel and fled from the place of crime. The wounded person was transferred to the hospital and undergone immediate surgery. At this moment his condition of health remains critical.
Law enforcers managed to detain Givi A. in Gldani settlement several hours after the crime took place.
Investigation is in progress under the article 177, I part of the criminal Code.
