The officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Main Divisison as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Rezo L. (DoB 1995) for sexual abuse under violence and bringing an under aged person to suicide.
Investigation established that in one of the villages of Kharagauli region detainee raped his co-villager, an underage boy. After the mentioned the victim attempted to commit a suicide in vicinities of his house. Being unconscious, an underage victim was transferred to Kutaisi hospital. The next day he died without regaining consciousness.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of sexual abuse under violence and bringing an under aged person to suicide, article 115 and 138, IV part, sub-paragraph C of the Criminal Code. The committed crime envisages from 15 up to 20 years of imprisonment.
