The officers of Batumi police division of Adjara police department as a result of the investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained M.K. (DoB 1985) in Batumi for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized unregistered Makarov pistol wiwth magazine and 5 bullets.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms, article 236, II and III parts of the Criminal Code.
