The officers of the Vake-saburtalo police division as a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities detained Giorgi B. (DoB 1979) for armed assault.
Investigation established that on November 12 detainee committed armed assault on the branch of the “Pro-credit Bank” located on Tchavtchavadze Avenue, appropriated cash and fled from the place of crime. Law enforcers managed to detain the accused person in Tbilisi and seized firearm as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of the armed robbery, article 179, III part, sub-paragraph C envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
