The officers of Tbilisi Main Division and Security Police Department as a result of joint operative-searching and investigative activities detained Malkhaz G. (DoB: 1978) and Vladimer T. (DoB: 1980) for assault.
The investigation established that on September 18, the armed detainees illegally entered the branch of “ProCredit Bank” on Guramishvili Avenue, misappropriated money and fled from the crime scene.
In a few minutes, as a result of immediate searching and investigative activities the law enforcers detained both individuals on Guramishvili Avenue.
The money illegally appropriated from the bank was seized by police officers as an evidence.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of assault (Article 179 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
