The officers of Vake-Saburtalo police division as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained KH.A. (DoB 1990) for the armed robbery.
Investigation established that detainee committed armed robbery of one of the branches of the “bank of Georgia” located on Bazaleti Street. Detainee managed to appropriate cash under the pressure of the firearm and fled from the place of crime. Law enforcers managed to detain KH.A several hours later in his own apartment, located in Tbilisi. During the searching activities held in his apartment, policemen seized firearm, drug substance while as a result of the personal search the part of the stolen cash was seized as evidence.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery, article 179 of the Criminal Code.
