Minister of Internal Affairs, Giorgi Mgebrishvili held meeting in field operations center of Emergency Situations Management Agency, which was attended by the leadership of various MIA Departments. At the meeting the recent situation in Borjomi gorge was discussed.
At this stage, the fire in the gorge is fully liquidated and special fire preventive activities are currently carried out by the rescuers.
More than 300 fire-fighters still remain in Borjomi gorge as well as 600 officers of MIA Special Tasks Department, 100 military servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, 50 employees of the Ministry of Energy, 40 special off-road vehicles, 14 trucks and light vehicles, 1 helicopter of MIA Border Police and 1 helicopter of Belarus.
Azerbaijani and Armenian rescuers will leave Georgia Tomorrow.
