In connection with the Mother’s Day Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze congratulated mothers of police officers fallen in August war 2008. Minister visited mother of the deceased police officer Zurab Tatulashvili in Plavismani village and congratulated with Mother’s Day. Minister gifted Mrs. Marine with bouquet and 1000 GEL voucher.
Zurab Tatulashvili is the owner of II rank Vakhtang Gorgasali order. He was the officer of Special Tasks Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Tatulashvili fought on the front line with the rocket launcher during the war. He was killed on August 8 by the bullet of the sniper. He was shot in back when he tried to assist the wounded fellow soldier. Tatulashvili was killed at the place, while the wounded soldier survived.
Under the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs regional police chiefs also visited mothers of the deceased police officers, in particular police chiefs visited Nadim Artmelidze’s Lasha Tevzadze’s Zviad Chichua’s Datuna Avaliani’s, Giorgi Marsagishvili’s Zura Bibiluri’s Irakli Abramishvili’s Giorgi Dzirtkbilashvili’s Besik Kapanadze’s Givi Sakhelashvili’s Iago Mikeladze’s Mamuka Shubitidze’s Zviad Barbakaddze’s Temur Pichkhaia’s Giorgi Ghvinjilia’s and Zviad Datuashvili’s mothers and congratulated them with the Mother’s Day. Mothers of the deceased police officers were awarded with 1000 GEL vouchers for purchasing household technic and were thanked for raising sons dedicated to the country.
