Under the instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs, deputy ministers Shalva Khutsishvili and Merab Malania visited Mskhalgora village, Lagodekhi and met with parents and relatives of the three hunters- Levan Jalalov, AvTandil Samkharadze and Davit Samkharadze who were lost in mountains several weeks ago.
At the meeting Shalva Khutsishvili and Merab Malania expressed their concern regarding the disappearance. Deputies informed parents of the lost citizens regarding the recent situation in terms of the search activities and listened their assumptions on the whereabouts of those lost in the mountains.
Deputy Ministers also stated to the family members of the lost hunters that Ministry of Internal Affairs has the confirmed information that Georgian citizens have not crossed Russian state border from Dagestan sector for a concrete period of time and that Georgian citizens have not crossed the border illegally. Therefore, the disseminated information alleging that Georgian hunters were in Dagestan is a complete falsehood.
Shalva Khutsishvili and Merab Malania expressed their support to the family members and once again noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues search for their lost sons.
