Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Levan Izoria held meeting with the head of International Organization for Migration (IOM) Liliana Derilova and her deputy Lora Tompson.
Sides discussed issues connected with co-operation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and IOM, future and ongoing projects as well as ongoing and scheduled activities in the field of the fight against illegal migration. Deputy Minister also reviewed the construction process of the Migration Center which will be completed in September of the current year.
IOM is providing support to the Ministry in border management and in the field of capacity building and boosting qualification in the fight against trafficking and illegal migration.
