Head of the EU Crisis Management and Planning Directorate Gabro Icloud and the Delegation of the European External Action Service visited Georgia visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The guests were hosted by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Shalva Khutsishvili.
At the meeting Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs underlined the importance of the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia. Shalva Khutsishvili introduced the members of the delegation to the activities implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs within the frames of the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP). The sides discussed future cooperation prospects.
Framework Agreement between Georgia and the European Union on Georgia's participation in EU crisis management operations was signed at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius on November 29, 2013. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is actively involved in various activities within the frames of common security and defense policy.
