The official visit of the delegation of the National Police of the state of Israel to Georgia has been completed. Within the framework of the visit, members of the delegation of the Israeli National Police, headed by the Commissioner of the Israeli National Police – Yaakov Shabtay visited different units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Members of the Israeli delegation visited the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reviewed Academy base and attended simulation training.
Guests also visited the Public Safety Command Center “112”, the Unified Service Center of the Patrol Police Department and Special Tasks Department.
During the visits to the units, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia provided the detailed information to the members of the delegation regarding the work specifics of respective structural units of the Ministry on spot.
Parties also discussed perspectives for further strengthening existing cooperation in various directions and sharing of experience.
It is notable that within the framework of the official visit, Commissioner of the Israeli National Police along with the members of the delegation held the first meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
