We would like to inform the public about the activities that the Ministry of Internal Affairs currently conducts regarding the crime committed in Khorava Street.
The Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs investigates the criminal case in order to identify the additional circumstances, which were outlined during the hearing of the case in court.
In particular, the purpose of the investigation is to identify those persons who are constantly trying to distort facts (including expertise conclusions) and affect the outcome of judicial review by financial or other tools.
There is a reasonable suspicion that by such actions they are trying to disrupt the version of the investigation and avoid responsibility of certain individuals.
Some people have been interviewed yesterday. Interrogations and other investigative actions will be continued.
Yesterday, the first instance Court passed a sentence on murder case, which, as it is known, will be appealed by the Prosecutor's Office to a higher instance.
We would like to remind the public that the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the initial stage of the investigation of murder case has established and detained those persons who were guilty of concealing the crime committed by the accused individuals.
In the course of the ongoing investigation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will identify all persons who have directly or indirectly influenced the results of the trial of this grave crime.
