The training on the communication etiquette for the persons with disabilities was held for the employees of the Patrol Police Department and LEPL Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia
The training covered topics, such as: concept of communication with persons with disabilities; positive attitude towards persons with disabilities; discrimination inadmissibility; communication standard for the persons with disabilities, etc.
The training is carried out within the framework of the project – “Supporting the Unified Service Center and Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Strengthen their Organizational Capacity for Improved Public Service Delivery – Phase 2”.
The project is part of a wider United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) initiative – “Supporting Public Administration Reform in Georgia - Phase 2”, supported by the Government of the United Kingdom.
The implementation of the project, in close cooperation with the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, is facilitated by the local companies – GEC and Innovations and Reforms Center (IRC) since 2021.
It aims to assist Unified Service Center and Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in strengthening its organizational capacity to ensure effective and inclusive delivery of human-centered public services.
