NATO Liaison Office organized the working meeting in order to share experience on critical infrastructure. During the meeting, the Representatives of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, the British Embassy in Georgia and the NATO Energy Security Center discussed critical infrastructure and crisis management issues, as well as, discussion focused on Norwegian, UK and Lithuanian experiences in critical energy infrastructure protection.
The working meeting was attended by the other state agencies involving in the implementation of critical infrastructure protection reform, including the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The protection of critical infrastructure is one of the priorities of the Government of Georgia.
In order to ensure the security and to protect national interests, it is necessary to determine the critical (strategic) facilities and system and ensure proper functioning.
