The Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted the residents of Mtskheta as well as the guests of the city throughout the day at the event dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia on the central square of Mtskheta.
At the information and exhibition stands presented by the various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on May 26, citizens were able to get familiarized with the steps taken by the agency in the direction of European integration, successful reforms implemented in accordance with European standards and various information zones presented by the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented a number of thematic, information-cognitive activities for children, as well as various entertainment spaces aimed for them.
At 17:10, exactly at the time when Noe Zhordania declared Georgia's independence in 1918, the anthems of the European Union and Georgia were performed in Mtskheta, as well as throughout Georgia.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted guests in Mtskheta throughout the day, and in the evening the event was concluded with a concert.
