The Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs you that due to the artificial barriers installed on the road by the organizers of the manifestation in front of the Parliament building, on the Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, traffic is restricted in certain areas of the capital while prohibitions where introduced on specific streets. Namely:
• The traffic movement is restricted on the adjacent territory of the Parliament – on the streets of Zakaria Chichinadze, 9 April and Zubalashvili Brothers;
• On the Rustaveli Avenue two-way traffic movement is prohibited from the Liberty Square to the shopping center “Merani”;
• The traffic movement is prohibited on all streets that cross Rustaveli Avenue;
• Drivers can move on the parallel street of Rustaveli Avenue – Tabukashvili Street;
• Traffic flow from Sololaki to Vake-Saburtalo will travel via Daniel Chonkadze Street;
• For the traffic flow coming from Shalva Dadiani Street will proceed through the Liberty Square, only towards the direction of Pushkini and Leonidze Streets.
Additionally, please be informed that designated Patrol Police crews regulate traffic and ensure road safety on these sections.
