The officers of Patrol Police Department and Security Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities detained B.Tch. (DoB 1989) for armed robbery and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm.
Committed crime envisages from 5 to 7 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that, today, early in the morning, detainee broke into the building of “Rico Credit” company located on Javakheti Street, Tbilisi. Detainee, supposedly armed with a firearm and hand grenade, under the pressure of the mentioned arms, demanded cash from the cashier.
Law enforcers seized the supposed firearm and hand grenade as evidence. Within the frames of the ongoing investigation, relevant expertise and forensic activities are scheduled to be held.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm, article 179, I part and article 236, III and IV parts envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
