Two-day informative and educational event held within the framework of the campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police" continues in Batumi, near the Alphabet tower. The event was opened yesterday in Batumi and has been actively conducted for the second day. Beginning from next week, within the framework of the campaign, informational meetings will be held in Batumi schools.
In parallel with the public events, the project includes visits of representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs units to schools. Meetings at schools will be held by Patrol Police Department, Human Rights Protection and Quality Investigation Monitoring Department, Emergency Situations Management Service, Service Agency and Emergency Response Center "112" representatives. Informative-educational meetings will also be held with students, the purpose of which is to raise awareness among children and juveniles on public safety and rule of law.
The campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police" will continue in the future. In addition to Batumi, public events will also be held in other cities throughout the country. Like in Batumi, under-aged persons and all interested individuals will have the opportunity to learn about the activities of various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as to visit and view the Patrol Police, Emergency Response Center "112", Service Agency, Forensic-criminalistics Department, Border Police, special machinery and equipment of the Emergency Situations Management Service, Security Police and Special Tasks Department. Children, together with representatives of the agency, will participate in various educational and entertainment activities.
