Within the framework of the information and awareness raising campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police" a public event is taking place in the central square of Zugdidi
Heads of various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and leadership of the local governance of Samegrelo region are attending the event.
At the public event, juveniles and all interested persons have the opportunity to learn about the activities of various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as to visit and view the equipment and special machinery of the Patrol Police, Emergency Response Center "112", Service Agency, Forensic-criminalistics Department, Border Police, Emergency Situations Management Service, Security Police and Special Tasks Department.
Children, together with representatives of the Ministry, participate in various cognitive and entertainment activities.
It should be noted that in parallel with the public events, the project also includes visits to schools by the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, namely the Patrol Police Department, the Human Rights Protection and Quality Investigation Monitoring Department, the Emergency Management Service, the Service Agency and the Emergency Response Center "112".
Information-cognitive meetings will be held with school pupils, the purpose of which is to raise awareness among children and juveniles on public safety and rule of law.
