International Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia conducted annual Donor Coordination Conference.
The conference was attended by the high-level officials of the Ministry, representatives of partner countries and International Organizations that closely cooperate with the MIA and implement joint projects.
The aim of the conference was to present audience results of the needs analyses conducted in the Ministry.
Opening remarks were made by the director of International Relations Department, Ms. Ekaterine Machavariani. She overviewed current and initiated reforms, significant projects financed by donor organizations, partner countries as well as MIA.
Representatives of International Relations Department presented information of the current needs that derives from priorities of the Ministry and various international obligations.
The event was conducted by the support of EU funded project “Fight against organized crime”.
