127 conscripts of Department for the Protection of the Objects under the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in oath taking ceremony which took place in Batumi and Gori
The oath taking ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Merab Malania, representatives of Department for the Protection of the Objects and family members of the conscripts.
Conscripts paid tribute to the memory of the policemen, killed in the line of duty. The national anthem was also performed. In parallel with the oath taking ceremony, head of Department for the Protection of the Objects awarded representatives of the same department with certificates.
Conscripts will undergo one-year compulsory military service at Strategic Objects Protection Department. They will study military subjects and acquire essential practical skills of professional soldiers. They will also participate in various sports events and will be provided with free medical service and nourishment.
