Within the framework of the information-cognitive campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police", meetings in schools of the regions continue. After Imereti, the representatives of the Ministry held meetings with pupils in Shida Kartli, in 4 different schools of Gori: Niko Ketskhoveli N1 public school, N2, N3 and Vazha-Pshavela public school N9.
The goal of informational and cognitive meetings is to raise awareness among children and juveniles about public safety and rule of law.
Employees of the Patrol Police, Criminal Police, Public Safety Coomand Center "112", Emergency Situations Management Service, and the Department of Human Rights Protection and Quality Investigation Monitoring Department provided teenagers with information on law and order related topics, including children's rights, early marriage and its harm, bullying, violence and organized crime. The representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented videos depicting the activities of various structural units of MIA.
The meetings were held in Q&A format. The law enforcement provided comprehensive answers to questions raised.
