Due to the deteriorated weather, causing the increase of the River Arghuni level, the Bridge leading to Knonistchala village was dismantled due to which the road to Mutso has been blocked. Border guards of the first border sector (Mutso) under VI division (Barisakho) of Border Police and Kakheti Regional Division of Emergency Situations Management Agency have been mobilized at the place. Rescuers are actively holding road clean-up activities.
Till the end of road and bridge rehabilitation works the traffic movement will be temporary blocked from Shatili to Mutso as well as movement on pedestrian routes. Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on tourists and civilians to abstain from moving to the mentioned direction.
