Aiming to secure order and safety, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has made the following decision in connection with the amount of pilgrims willing to see Father Gabriel’s holly parts at “Trinity” cathedral church:
Pedestrians should approach the cathedral from western gates, by Samreklo Street, where citizens will be able to enter cathedral form the main gates, after passing safety corridor.
While leaving the cathedral citizens have to move to the direction of southern gates and leave the church by Eristavi Street.
On all streets leading to “Triniti” church traffic movement is restricted and in case of increasing the number of pilgrims, Patrol Police officers may block the passage to the several streets periodically.
In order to avoid unexpected situations and incidents and to allow police manage the crowd, the Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on pilgrims to obey legal demands of police, contribute to maintaining public order and act in coordination with police forces.
