Public is already aware of the fact that the so called "silent rally" was announced in front of the parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue, alongside of which another manifestation was planned near to the Kashveti temple.
We call on the protesters not to exceed the limits allowed by the law on assembly and expression. At the same time, we warn the organizers of both rallies to refrain from calls for violence and ensure that the demonstrations remain peaceful.
Herewith, taking into account the existing risks, we call on the media representatives to cooperate with the police, to take into account the instructions and recommendations of the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs will ensure the protection of public order and safety. The Ministry will respond accordingly to any fact of violation.
