Second under aged person who is accused of the murder that took place on December 1 on Khorava Street turned himself over to the police forces
On December1, 2017 the second under aged person- G.J. has turned himself over to the police. It is notable that today court has ruled out preliminary sentence regarding G.B. who is one of the accused individuals of the mentioned murder case, while other under aged person was accused of murder in absentia.
At this stage of investigation Ministry of Internal Affairs has exposed and detained 2 individuals involved in the case, while others have been brought to criminal justice. Investigation is in progress in order to define status of others involved in the case.
We would like to underline that in the process of investigation, each law enforcer took into consideration the sensitivity of the case, owning to the fact that minors were involved in the crime. Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to express gratitude towards each police officer who worked in round-the-clock regime to make sure that investigation was productive and persons responsible of the crime were brought to criminal justice.
Ministry of Internal Affairs once again would like to condole to the families and relatives of the two minors who were killed.
Ministry of Internal Affairs along with Ministry of Education and Science, other state agencies, local non-governmental organizations and whole society is actively working to implement crime prevention policy among minors in order to prevent such tragic incidents for the future.
