The newly appointed internal security attache of the French Republic, Olivier Lefebvre, held introductory meetings with the heads of the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The attache visited the Patrol Police Department, the Information-Analytical Department, the Special Tasks Department, the Migration Department, the Emergency Management Service, the Public Safety Command Center "112", the MIA Academy, the Forensic-Criminalistic Department.
Within the framework of the meetings, Olivier Lefebvre got familiarized with the details of the structure and works specifics of the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The parties talked about existing productive cooperation issues with the law enforcement agencies of the French Republic and discussed future perspectives.
The internal security attache of the French Republic emphasized on the high level of successful cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of two countries and expressed hope that mentioned cooperation will further be enhanced through joint efforts.
