Football teams of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Tskhinvali “Liakhvi” have held friendly match at Gori central stadium. The game ended with draw -7-7.
In the football team of MIA the following persons were enlisted:Iakob Gegeshidze-head of administration of Special and Emergency Measures Center , Zurab Zurabishvili- head of Emergency Measures Center, Vasil Revishvili-deputy head of the same department, Shalva Enukidze-head of Information-analytical Department, Davit Tsinaridze-head of Patrol Police Department, Zviad Katsashsvili-head of Emergency Situations Management Department, Chairmaan of Security Police-Guram Tomaradze, Rector of MIA Academy-Nukri Gelashvili, deouty head of Counter-intellgence Department Andro Mosidze, deputy director of Border Police Zurab Gavashelishvili, Levan Kvitsiani-Head of Kvemo Kartli Regional Main Division and other officials of the Ministry. Aim of the match was to make contribution is establishing trusts and friendly relations between Georgian and Ossetian people.
Football team “Liakhvi” was rehabilitated in 2014 under the initiative of Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili and Georgian government. The team of comprised of Georgian and Ossetian players and is the leader of the regional championship.
