The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Trkiye to Georgia – Ali Kaan Orbay visited the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Within the scope of the visit the Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Vakhtang Gabrichidze held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador. Counselors for the Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye to Georgia - Necmettin Akca and Necmi Ince also attended the meeting.
During the meeting detailed information regarding the activities and the future plans scheduled to be implemented was provided to the Ambassador.
Within the framework of the meeting, the tour was also organized for the guests. The Ambassador reviewed academy's infrastructure, specifically: examination center, simulation training space, simulated border checkpoint, shooting range and gym.
At the end of the meeting Vakhtang Gabrichidze expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for the unwavering support of the Republic of Trkiye and expressed his hope that with the joint efforts the existing cooperation between the two countries will be further deepened.
