Federal Bureau of Investigation Attache of US Embassy in Georgia Heather Berg visited the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Vice Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Teimuraz Maghradze and representatives of International Relations Department attended the meeting. Attendants discussed US-funded projects aimed at strengthening the Academy and future partnership priorities. The guests were informed about the specifics of the work of the Academy of the MIA and visited simulated training space, computer center, simulated border checkpoint and shooting range. Vice Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs thanked the Attache of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for her support and for strengthening the capacity of the MIA Academy.
