The officers of the Main Division for Combating Illegal Drug Circulation under the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of investigative activities detained D.Sh. (DoB 1982) in Zugdidi on the basis of the court decision for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs.
During the personal search and search activities held in detainee’s vehicle and apartment, law enforcers seized “methadone” and “Lirika” drugs.
Law enforcers have also seized vehicle of the detainee as evidence as well as 6785 USD and 500 EU.
Investigation on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs is in progress under the article 260 envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
